Not every ceramic coating can be applied by anyone. The professional-grade coatings need specific training and accreditation, and we are certified installers for the coatings we offer — Magnum Luminous X is released only to accredited applicators. Each one goes on to manufacturer standards: the right preparation, application and curing. That is what the warranty depends on, and it is why an accredited job costs what it does. You are handed a manufacturer warranty card for the coating on your car — up to ten years on Luminous X — not a promise from us.
Every coating package includes a complete exterior wash and preparation, iron fallout removal and clay bar decontamination where required, and a single-stage machine paint enhancement that lifts gloss and clarity while removing up to 50% of paint defects.

Looking after it
A ceramic coating changes how you wash a car, not whether you wash it. Eight things that keep one performing for the whole of its warranty.
The coating keeps hardening after you drive away. No wash, no cover, no pressure washer until it has cured - the warranty card handed over with your car gives the exact window for the coating fitted.
A coating makes washing easier; it does not make it optional. Dirt left sitting still etches, and a fortnight is the honest interval on the Gold Coast.
One bucket for soap, one to rinse the mitt, and a separate bucket and mitt that only ever touch wheels. Most swirl marks are put there during washing.
Skip anything sold as a wash-and-wax or a gloss booster. They leave a film that sits on top of the coating and dulls exactly the finish you paid for.
Spinning brushes will mark a coated car as readily as an uncoated one. If you cannot hand-wash it, a touchless wash is the one to use.
Our water is hard enough to leave mineral spotting that bonds to the coating. A clean microfibre or a filtered blower, in the shade, straight after rinsing.
Both are acidic and both keep working while they sit. Soften with a damp cloth and lift - never scrub a dried deposit.
A yearly inspection is how a coating gets its full life: we check the surface, top up where it has taken a hit, and put right anything the year has done to it.

A ceramic coating lasts as long as the tier you choose — the packages on this page are sold by their term, and the warranty card handed over with your car carries the exact figure for the coating fitted. It bonds to the paint rather than sitting on top of it, which is why it outlasts a wax or a sealant.
Yes, and it gets easier. A ceramic coating is hydrophobic, so dirt and road grime do not key into the paint the way they do on an uncoated car — you wash less often and it takes less time when you do. Use a pH-neutral soap and two buckets.
Yes. A ceramic coating can be maintained and topped up, and we do that on the yearly inspection — we check the surface, top up where it has taken a hit and put right anything the year has done to it. That inspection is what gets a coating its full life.
A ceramic coating locks in the finish underneath it, so any swirls or haze left in the paint are sealed in with it. Correcting the paint first is what makes a coating worth having on a car that has been on the road, which is why Anything Auto Detailing includes a single-stage enhancement in every coating package and quotes deeper correction separately.
It depends on the vehicle and the service. Coatings are the longest job — around a day for the paint preparation and application on a 5-year coating, and up to two days for the longer-life tiers where the paint needs correcting first. You get an expected timeframe with your quote.
Yes. Anything Auto Detailing has an indoor workshop in Miami on the Gold Coast, and every service on this site can be done there or at your place. We agree a day, you drop the car in, and you pick it up when the work is finished.
Detailing work needs the right conditions to come out properly. If the weather would compromise the finish or make the site unsafe, we will call you and either move the booking or bring the car into our Miami workshop instead, which is indoors and works in any weather. We would rather reschedule than hand back a job we are not happy with.
